Cryptoleft : Public organizations for collective power
Cryptoleft describes the use of cryptographic technologies to organize, protect and coordinate collective power.
It encompasses public-interest organizations, communities, cooperatives, DAOs and other forms of shared governance in which cryptography can provide transparency, coordination, accountability and collective ownership.
The objective is not to eliminate institutions, but to make collective institutions more transparent, auditable and resilient.
Cryptoright : Private wallets for individual sovereignty
Cryptoright describes the use of cryptography to protect individual sovereignty.
A private wallet reverses the traditional relationship between the individual and the financial institution: instead of asking a third party to safeguard an asset, the individual holds the cryptographic means of access directly.
Not your keys, not your coins.
Cryptoright therefore encompasses self-custody, private keys, seed phrases, personal wallets and physical cold storage — from digital wallets to tangible cryptographic objects.
Two sides of cryptographic power
Cryptoleft and Cryptoright are not opposites.
They describe two complementary directions of cryptographic sovereignty:

Cryptoright → individual sovereignty
One builds the commons; the other protects the individual.
